A couple of weeks ago, my friend and I headed to a small fashion show organised by Vidal Sassoon. Paris was also showing a mix of her SS and AW collections. Here's a snap of some of the gorgeous girls backstage.

I have lusted after these for months, we're talking well before Christmas. Sadly, I doubt they'll ever be mine.

Oh dear, now we're at the end of may. Typical.

Well, I met some cool new people in Hereford, tried out surfing in Scotland and I ached for a week.

Work wise April was busy! I completed the pattern cutting for the Paris G AW 11/12 collection. The Samples were made up just in time to be sent off, as she made it through the first round of the BFC/Elle Talent Launch Pad Competition! Here's the look book....

Aw man, I just saw my last post was at the beginning of March! I hope I get better at prompt posting.

So my excuses are: busy & travelling. Well, to Hereford.I had a great long weekend hanging out in my boyfriend's home town, complete with day trip to an obscene amount of garden centres in the welsh valleys with my mam. Next, the motherland! I'm heading up to Scotland on Monday for a week to possibly learn to surf, make some trousers for my granny and lounge around eating. Next Month features a weekend in Derry! After promising for five years, I'm finally visiting my old flat mate for a uni reunion.

It's not all jet set though (I still haven't left British soil) I've been working on pattern cutting Paris' A/W Collection and trying to find a little inspiration for my own... possibly a bit of teddy boy/ rockabilly with some LA gangster thrown in? It'll look good, I promise!

Incidentally, Paris' new website is up and running and she's got her first stockist, online boutique Tara Lacey and there's talk of a new collection for Vidal Sassoon in the Summer!

I've just finished a project for Vidal Sassoon! How bloody cool? I've been working with Paris Edwards again, making up some of her designs for a shoot happening tomorrow, and they wanted a few behind the scenes pics from us. I'm no photographer but I love seeing people's creative work spaces, so I thought I'd pop up a few of images for you to peruse.

Paris Edwards

For the past few months, Munro's been under the radar while I did a little freelance pattern cutting and sample production for a new designer in the Liverpool area, Paris Edwards. She designs gorgeous women's wear; classic, feminine and with a little twist. Defs a bit of a different look to what you'll find in my sketchbook.

Anyway, I finally got my mitts on the lookbook! I'm going to tease you with a few shots...

So yeah, if it seems like I've disappeared off the face of the earth, I'm probably working on something like this!
